Aside from John Mayer being an enthusiast of Visvim, what else is artisanal about him?

HYPEBEAST‘s 14th issue features the screen printing process of LQQK StudioNanamica and The North Face Purple Label‘s Eiichiro Homma, and Hender Scheme‘s Ryo Kashiwazaki. These are what essentially interest us at Your New Neighbor. Terry Richardson still looks creepy, but props on the button-down. It’s clean!

Cop the issue at $12 USD online or from your local CommonwealthTwelfth HouseSole Academy, or wherever it’s being passed around. The magazine’s a few hundred pesos more, but if you’re having it shipped, it just might turn out the same. We’ll stop talking now.

Who doesn’t love cartoons?! Los Angeles-based creative studio LAUNDRY did a few idents for The Simpsons on American TV network FX. Personally, we think these should play in a gallery after their airing on television, but that’s just us.

New York contemporary artist KAWS recently tied up with Japanese retail giant UNIQLO. This much anticipated partnership between good friends Nigo (UT Creative Director) and Brian Donnelly (a.k.a KAWS) is now available in select Uniqlo stores nationwide. Slated for a summer release, their first ever collaboration comes in waves of graphic tees, tote bags, and room slippers.

Your New Neighbor took to SM Megamall earlier to check out the collab’s reception. Donnelly’s brand OriginalFake garnered fans all over the globe, so it was no surprise when a line formed outside Uniqlo. When the store finally opened, most turned to the Kaws section. Some designs hadn’t made it to the shelves. They were already being carried around by customers. It was rumored that only 200 pieces were delivered, so by noon, only broken sizes and a handful of designs were left on shelves.

Stay tuned to the Uniqlo Facebook page for any further announcements. If you’re looking at buying a tee, you better rush to a store now. The next two waves are devoted to the accessories line of #UTxKAWS.

Featuring the enigmatic singer Jess Connelly, the first collection from Manila-based brand GIRL IN TRANSIT captures the right kind of attention.

References from Dirty Dancing, Josie and the Pussycats, and Lichtenstein are prevalent in their S/S 2016 debut dubbed “Lovers In The Parking Lot.”

At the end of their lookbook, the brand teased male counterpart Boy in Transit for Summer 2017. By the looks of it, we’re definitely in for a ride. You can shop the collection online.
